What Is Special About the Leather Used at HUND Denmark?
As compared to over 90% of leather goods available in the market that use chemicals or irritants to speed up production, our leather is sourced through natural means and contains no chemicals or irritants. As such, using our leather will reduce the likelihood of pets developing any rashes or reactions to wearing our accessories. The leather we use is widely recognized and has even earned multiple awards such as the German Blue Angel Certificate for choosing to use materials that are environmentally friendly.
In addition, the leather we use is sourced from century-old tanneries that use unique vegetable-tanned leather, which consists of natural tannins that are extracted from plants such as quebrachos and chestnut trees. This natural extraction method takes approximately 40 days to complete as compared to methods that involve harsh chemicals which simply take a few days to complete. We choose to prioritize product safety over cutting costs and time, ensuring that your pets receive only the best products.
Why Is Leather the Preferred Material for Dogs?
After comparing the different materials available for manufacturing accessories for dogs, it has been found that leather is the most natural material for dogs. This is because leather contains properties that are most similar to the natural chemistry of dogs, and at the same time is also extremely soft and comfortable. When dogs wear accessories made of leather material, it is so comfortable that some dogs don’t feel them and even fall asleep when wearing them.
The comfort of leather also means that dogs won’t constantly move about or try to remove the accessory, which can lead to injuries due to excess friction.
What Is the Return Policy at HUND Denmark?
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase that took place within 30 calendar days, you may opt to return the product. To be eligible for a refund, the item you return must be unused, with tags intact, and in the same condition as when you received it. When returning a product, be sure to include the order as well as your full name on a note that states a request for a refund.
The unused item should be returned to HUND Denmark 2117, Brookgate Dr. Grapevine, TX. 76051 using any postal service of your choice.
If the refund is approved after inspection of the product, a refund will be processed to you within 1 to 4 weeks depending on the payment mode. Do note that a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the return balance.
