MUNCHKIN - Round Martingale Collar
MUNCHKIN Martingale collar is ideal for pulling dogs that tend to slip out of their regular collar, dogs in training and simply whenever you need more control of your pup. The thickness of the collar and chain is in proportion to the size of collar and ensures the perfect fit, comfort and durability. This collar features a chain attached to the leather making the collar extra strong and creates the classic 'chain sound' which is considered by many dogs as an audible signal to stop pulling.
With its rounded design and no outside seam, Munchkin prevents matting, rubbing and irritation around the neck area. It provides optimal comfort for your pet and is crafted with hand stitched details from Italy's softest sustainably made leather. The leather is pure and clean to ensure it is the most natural and hypoallergenic material for a pet to wear.
Martingale Collar Measurement Guide:
The size of the collar reflects the size at the smallest setting, meaning when your dog is on the leash pulling until the collar is completely closed. When the collar is resting on the dog, it is open and loose around their neck.
When measuring for a Martingale collar ensure that the collar is snug enough around the neck so it doesn't slip off when the dog is pulling.
We recommend measuring the dog's neck with a tape measure snugly. This measurement is the correct size for a martingale. A martingale collar is typically a size smaller than a regular HUND collar.
Please note: A martingale collar is intended to correct a dog's walking style and should primarily be used when walking or training a dog. A martingale collar should never replace a standard collar. We do not recommend leaving a dog unattended wearing a martingale collar.
I never got my order
I received this order yesterday (April 7). The materials and craftsmanship are excellent, but the sizing doesn’t seem right. I ordered size 20” based on feedback from your operator and my dog’s measured neck circumference of 22.5” and head 24”. I was told that the 20” martingale runs large, but it seems too big, as there are a couple of inches of slack in the fully closed position. I will review with our trainer this Saturday April 10 to get another opinion on sizing.
I bought the round martingale. It is stunning
The collar is high quality but unfortunately the size wasn't correct and the collar type isn't ideal for our training type. It looked very nice on our dog.
It's the highest quality collar any of my dogs have ever had. I would have given it all 5 stars if it was adjustable. My dog is in between sizes. Great service BTW
