Measuring your dog
Generally, the most accurate way to determine your dog's collar size is by measuring your dog's neck. Measure at the narrowest point of your dog’s neck, just as tight or loose as you would like the new collar to fit.
The collar should be snug, without being so tight that it will cause discomfort or loose enough to slide over your dog’s head.
As a rule of thumb, a well-fitting collar should leave just enough room for you to slide two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck.

These are my favorite collars. I have Border Collie’s and they work so well for long hair. The collar is very good quality and the leather is so soft. One of my dogs has worn her collar for over two years now. She swims almost daily and the collar has held up wonderfully!
Happy with this classy collar. If the dog’s neck size is on the large edge of small get small. It stretches a bit and he’s already gone another notch in. I appreciate the craftsmanship and service when we finally did connect. The dog is fluffy and no tangled hair now with it. Thank you.
The collar is very nice but I have tried three times via email and once via phone that you only get a machine to get a return label so I can exchange for a larger size. 15 days since receiving. No customer service. Very frustrating !!

Extremely well made, very stylish with high quality materials. Exceptional price point, quick shipping. I concur that this design does not leave matting/marks on the neck as many collars do. The navy and cream looks great on out chocolate lab. Very very happy with this.
